National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia’s central securities depository, has appointed Alexander Nazarov Director of its research and development department.
Nazarov will be coordinating the issues of product range development and NSD service improvement. His new responsibilities will also include developing the company’s correspondent and international relations.
Nazarov has 20 years of experience in financial sphere. Prior to joining NSD, he held senior management positions in the banking sector (UniCredit Bank, Citibank). He also has experience in investment companies and government organizations.
Nazarov graduated from MGIMO University with the specialty in international economic relations. He underwent training at the Bank of New York and Fairfield University, US. Nazarov holds an FSFM Certificate in securities custody services, awarded in 1999, and an FSFM Certificate in fund administrators, awarded in 2002.
