The tax efficiency specialists Puma Investments has announced the appointment of Polar Capital’s Justin Waine as Investment Director.
Puma hopes that Waine, who has over 15 years’ experience analysing UK and European SMEs, will help the company to capitalise on a surge of interest in its VCT, EIS and IHT products.
Waine began his career at Cazenove & Co as a side research analysis before moving to Polar Capital, where he mainly focussed on the UK, Germany and Switzerland. He also helped to manage the company’s award-winning European Forager Fund.
Puma Investment CEO, David Kaye, said of the appointment: “Justin’s appointment comes at an extremely exciting time for Puma Investments as we seek to broaden our suite of tax efficient strategies. He will be heading up a new offering which will complement our existing product range.”
