Société Générale (SG) and Diners Club International, a business unit of Discover Financial Services and part of the Discover Global Network, announced a signed agreement aimed at bolstering Discover and Diners Club card acceptance in France.
As part of the strategic alliance, SG will add acceptance of Discover and Diners Club cards to its payments processing services portfolio, beginning in 2014.
SG added that after an agreement with UnionPay International focused on Chinese tourists in France in June 2013, the bank continues delivering on its long lasting commitment to provide merchants with solutions best suited to meet the needs of their foreign customers.
