Helen Mason has been appointed head of commercial cards for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) by Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s (BofA Merrill) global transaction services (GTS) unit.
In her new role Mason will be responsible for product management, new business growth and account management for the EMEA commercial cards platform at BofA Merrill. Based in London, she will report to Lesley White, head of treasury products, EMEA, for the bank, and Kevin Phalen, head of global card and payables, who is based in Chicago, US.
Prior to joining BofA Merrill in 2010, Mason had previously worked at Citibank, HSBC, RBS and Lloyds. Over these various appointments over the last two decades, she managed all aspects of commercial cards, including operations, sales, account management and implementation, so has wide-ranging industry knowledge.
