Consulting and professional services firm Marsh & McLennan (M&M) has promoted Michael Bischoff to chief financial officer (CFO).
Bischoff, who joined M&M in 1982, had held the role of interim CFO since March 2012. Before that he was responsible for leading and directing the company’s corporate development, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), treasury and investor relations functions. He will report directly to M&M’s president and chief executive officer (CEO) Brian Duperreault.
Bischoff succeeds Vanessa Wittman, who left the company at the end of February to join Google.
