Barclays continues to grow its global trade and working capital team with the appointment of Vivek Gupta as head of trade and working capital for India. Gupta will be responsible for building the trade and working capital business in India across all client segments including financial institutions (FI) and multinational corporates.
Gupta joins Barclays from HSBC Singapore where he led its business development team. Prior to that, he headed the trade finance business for the Indian sub-continent at JP Morgan and was previously with Deutsche Bank as head of trade for Indonesia.
