RBS Citizens has created a new treasury solutions group within its Commercial Banking organisation. Formerly global transaction services, treasury solutions will incorporate an end-to-end strategy for domestic cash management, trade finance, and commercial card solutions.
“Treasury solutions combines our transaction banking products and services into one unit in order to better align with, and serve, our clients’ needs,” said Robert Matthews, vice chairman, commercial banking, of RBS Citizens. “These solutions are an important part of our approach to meeting the overall banking needs of our corporate customers, who increasingly turn to RBS Citizens for both lending and treasury support.”
A report by broking group Marsh examines the repercussions from the administration of the South Korean company, which filed for bankruptcy protection at the end of August.
