UniCredit has partnered with Northstar Europe in the area of export finance. Northstar Europe provides financing solutions for exports up to a volume of €5m. Within the framework of this co-operation and the long-lasting collaboration with the export finance bank AKA (Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft), corporates can be offered quick and uncomplicated long-term financing solutions for the export of capital goods from €500,000 upwards. With the aim of ensuring that requests are processed efficiently and on a ‘one-stop’ basis, HypoVereinsbank has set up its own specialised UniCredit Export Financial Express office.
“I am very pleased that we have been able to secure Northstar as a partner. In recent years, many exporters were compelled to review their risk-assessments even for smaller financing solutions. Furthermore, new concepts are required to comply with the trend towards long-term export finance. The new co-operation with Northstar Europe allows us to offer corporates long-term credits for their exports in a quick and uncomplicated manner, thus fulfilling their business needs better,” said Inés Lüdke, head of structured trade and export finance at UniCredit in Germany.
