API Technologies, a provider of electronics systems, subsystems, and secure solutions for the defence, aerospace, and commercial industries, has appointed Phil Rehkemper as chief financial officer (CFO) and announces the retirement of current CFO, Jack Freeman. Freeman had served as the CFO of API since its merger with Spectrum Control on 1 June 2011. Prior to joining API, Freeman had been a director and the CFO of Spectrum Control for over 21 years.
Rehkemper brings more than 25 years of financial and strategic planning experience to API. For the last nine years, he was part of the management team of International Rectifier, most recently serving as vice president of finance. Prior to joining International Rectifier, Rehkemper was CFO and vice president of finance at Alliance Fiber Optic Products.
