Wesdome Gold Mines, an established Canadian gold producer, has announced the retirement of Donald Orr, effective 31 December 2011. Orr has served as secretary-treasurer and chief financial officer (CFO) of Wesdome and its predecessor companies since 1979.
Orr will be replaced by Brian Ma, who is currently corporate controller at Wesdome Gold Mines. Prior to joining Wesdome, Ma held various positions with Deloitte. He is a chartered accountant (CA) and holds a Masters degree in accounting from the University of Waterloo.
