Beacon Hill has appointed Neil McKenzie as chief financial officer (CFO). McKenzie, who has over 25 years’ experience in the minerals and resources industry, will report to Tim Jones, group finance director. Most recently McKenzie held the position of CFO at Gloucester Coal Limited, a coking coal producer with current market capitalisation of AUS$1.35bn. Prior to this, McKenzie held a number of finance positions at Noble Group, a global commodity trader.
McKenzie is a chartered accountant (CA) and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, Australia. He has also held senior finance roles with Renison Goldfields, Iluka Resources, Oil Search and Whitehaven Coal.
