Barclays Corporate has continued to grow its trade finance team and financial institutions (FIs) business with the appointment of Shona Tatchell as head of FI trade sales. Tatchell joins Barclays Corporate from HSBC’s European structured trade and advisory team, where she was responsible for origination and structuring of trade transactions across the diversified industries group.
Prior to HSBC, Tatchell worked within the then Chase Manhattan trade sales group in London and Singapore and previously held roles in the Middle East.
Tatchell takes over the role from Giles Herman, who has been appointed head of trade for Barclays Corporate’s non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) business.
