Michael Jolley has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) of mining of Riversdale, following the successful takeover by Rio Tinto. Audrey Ferguson has been appointed as company secretary.
Jolley and Ferguson will replace Niall Lenahan, who was CFO and company secretary. Jolley has been employed at Rio since 1984, and has held various commercial and financial roles in the group. He has also worked in a variety of product groups in both Australia and Canada, including copper, diamonds and salt.
Ferguson has been with Rio for over 10 years, and was most recently based in the London office.
