Dako, a worldwide provider of cancer diagnostics solutions, has appointed Egil Mølsted Madsen as chief financial officer (CFO) of Dako and Dako Denmark, effective 9 May 2011.
For the past 10 years, Madsen has been with FLSmidth, a global engineering company, most recently as vice president and CFO, global customer service. Prior to that, he worked at Ernst & Young as senior manager, auditor. He began his career as an auditor at City Revision, rising to audit manager.
Madsen is a chartered accountant (CA). He holds an MSc in Accounting and a BSc in Economics & Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
