American Apparel, a vertically integrated manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of branded fashion basic apparel, has appointed John Luttrell as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO).
Luttrell was previously EVP and CFO of Old Navy from 2007 to 2008. Prior to Old Navy, Luttrell was EVP and CFO of Wet Seal from 2005 to 2007; and prior to that he spent approximately five years from 2001 to 2005 as CFO at Cost Plus. Luttrell is a graduate of Purdue University.
The company also announced that current CFO, Adrian Kowalewski, is being named EVP, corporate strategy.
