Nordea Appoints Deutsche Bank as Depositary Bank for ADR Programme

Nordea Bank has appointed Deutsche Bank as depositary bank for the sponsored Level I American depositary receipt (ADR) programme. Nordea is the largest financial services group in the Nordic and Baltic Sea region, with approximately 10 million customers, 1,400 branch offices and a market cap of €33bn.

Akbar Poonawala, head of global equity services at Deutsche Bank, said: “We are delighted to be acting as depositary bank on this ADR transaction and we very much look forward to working with Nordea to ensure that their ADR investors receive the highest level of service.”
