Sensata Technologies, a supplier of sensing, electrical protection, control and power management solutions. has moved Jeff Cote into the newly created position of chief administrative officer, while maintaining his current role as chief financial officer (CFO). In this role, Cote will continue to be part of the executive and strategy leadership teams and will take on responsibility for worldwide human resources (HR), legal and environmental, health and safety (EHS) along with his current responsibility for finance, IT and facilities.
Cote has served as executive vice president (EVP), CFO and a director of several of Sensata’s operating subsidiaries since he joined Sensata just over four years ago. Prior to joining Sensata, he was the chief operating officer (COO) at Ropes & Gray’s and managed its operations by directing the administrative and operational initiatives. Previously, Cote served as COO, CFO and CAO for Digitas.
Cote holds a BA degree and a MA degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Florida and in Massachusetts and serves on the board of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
