Sears Canada, a multi-channel retailer, has promoted Sharon Driscoll to senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). She has held her current position as SVP, finance, since November of 2008.
Prior to joining Sears, Driscoll was employed with Loblaw Companies as SVP, corporate development, and before that SVP, finance National Merchandising and SVP, finance retail Ontario region. Driscoll began her employment with Loblaw Companies in 1987. She holds a chartered accountant (CA) designation and earned her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University.
Allen Ravas, who was appointed as Sears Canada’s SVP and CFO in October of 2008, is returning to Sears Holdings as chief administrative officer (CAO) of Orchard Supply Hardware of San Jose, California, a majority-owned subsidiary of Sears Holdings.
