The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) has appointed Roger Marshall as interim chairman of the Accounting Standards Board (ASB). He replaces Ian Mackintosh, who was recently appointed vice chairman designate of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).
Marshall will take up his role as interim ASB chairman with immediate effect. A further announcement will be made in due course about a permanent appointment.
