ZipRealty has promoted Lanny Baker as chief executive officer (CEO) and president, effective 2 October 2010. Baker has served as ZipRealty’s executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) since December 2008. Prior to joining ZipRealty, Baker served as CFO of Monster Worldwide and spent 16 years as an equity research analyst focusing on the internet/online media sector.
Patrick Lashinsky has decided to step down as the company’s CEO and president, although he will remain in his current position through 1 October 2010 to assist in the transition.
