VocaLink, a payments specialist, has hired Nick Daniel as sales director for the transaction services division. Daniel will report into Nick Masterson-Jones, managing director of transaction services.
With 25 years’ experience in the IT and financial services industry, Daniel has held various sales and management positions in the UK, Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining VocaLink, he worked for CB.Net, a payments reference data supplier, as head of business development.
In his new role, Daniel will be responsible for identifying new growth opportunities for the division in the UK and internationally, as well as supporting the development of existing schemes.
Also within transaction services, Liz Oakes has been appointed industry relations director, reporting to Chris Dunne, director of strategy.
