Andean Resources, a gold exploration company, has appointed Eric Edwards as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Edwards has over 25 years experience in the gold mining sector holding a number of positions in operations, business development and corporate finance. Most recently, he held the position of CFO at International Minerals Corporation.
Over the past 15 years, Edwards has been CFO for a number of gold companies including Queenstake Resources, Viceroy Resource Corporation and Ivanhoe Mines. He holds a MBA degree from University of Utah and a BSc (Honours) degree in Geology from Utah State University.
