The chief executive officer (CEO) of Qantas Airways, Alan Joyce, has appointed Gareth Evans as chief financial officer (CFO).
Evans has been acting group executive finance, performing the functions of CFO to Qantas Airways since the resignation of Colin Storrie from the post earlier this year. He was, until recently, CFO Qantas Airlines within the Qantas Group. He is a director of the Qantas Foundation and Jetset Travelworld.
