Skanska Financial Services has used TradeTech’s platform to integrate Skanska’s treasury infrastructure, the WallStreet Suite (formerly Trema’s FinanceKIT), with systems for trade processing, payments and confirmations. Data now flows automatically from the trade processing systems into the WallStreet Suite, taking Skanska a step closer to straight-through processing (STP).
“Skanska continually strives to improve operational efficiency. Automating the data flow between our core treasury system, the Wallstreet Suite, and the surrounding systems is an important step in this direction,” said Håkan Smeds, head of IT at Skanska Financial Services. “Furthermore, a standardised integration process makes current and future integrations easier to manage and support.”
The integration project was completed in April 2010.
