Marks and Spencer Group (M&S) has announced the resignation of Ian Dyson, group finance and operations director. Dyson will leave M&S to join Punch Taverns as group chief executive officer (CEO).
Dyson joined M&S as group finance director in June 2005 and was appointed group finance and operations director in March 2006. Prior to this, he was finance director of The Rank Group and before that group financial controller of Hilton Group.
A report by broking group Marsh examines the repercussions from the administration of the South Korean company, which filed for bankruptcy protection at the end of August.
