Jefferies has appointed Mark Alan Fox as a managing director and head of emerging markets distribution, Europe. The hiring of Fox is the next step in the firm’s ongoing global expansion of its emerging markets business. In February, the firm announced the addition of three senior emerging markets professionals in Singapore.
Fox has more than 21 years of experience in financial services. Prior to joining Jefferies, he spent eight years at UBS, most recently as a managing director and head of emerging markets distribution, Switzerland and UK. Previously, he spent three years at JP Morgan and nine at Lehman Brothers.
