ubroadcast, an internet broadcasting company, has appointed financial industry veteran Marc Lord as chief financial officer (CFO).
Lord earned his BSc in Finance from San Diego State University. He has been working in the financial planning field since 1997. He has been awarded the “5 Star Best in Wealth Management” from San Diego Magazine four years running (2007-2010).
Along with his certified financial planner (CFP) designation, Lord is a California-registered tax preparer and holds a California insurance license. He has served on several industry organisations’ board of directors, and currently sits on the board of the California Society of Tax Consultants (CSTC) San Diego Chapter. He is also committee chairman of the Running Start Tax Update seminar that CSTC holds every January, which is the largest tax update seminar in San Diego County.
