AeroVironment (AV), an unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) developer, has announced the resignation of Stephen Wright from his position as senior vice president (SVP) and chief financial officer (CFO). Wright is leaving AV to pursue other business opportunities. Jikun Kim has been appointed interim CFO. Kim has served the company as vice president and controller since June 2009.
Prior to joining AV, Kim served with the Raytheon Company for more than eight years, most recently as CFO of Raytheon Vision Systems, a US$240m business. Kim earned an MBA from Columbia Business School, a MSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a BSc degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
