VT iDirect, a satellite-based IP communications technology company and subsidiary of VT Systems, has promoted Chris Norem to the role of chief financial officer (CFO). Norem had previously served as vice president of finance for iDirect since 2006.
Norem brings more than 17 years of finance experience to iDirect with a track record of helping businesses expand through acquisition and strategic growth. Previously, he held several leadership positions with US companies, including most recently Sprint Nextel and eLink Communications. Norem holds a BSc degree from Radford University in Virginia.
