Teleperformance, a contact centre management firm, has selected SunGard’s AvantGard Treasury, a hosted treasury solution, to help manage its global liquidity, foreign exchange (FX) and counterparty risk. The Paris-based company will use AvantGard to help gain a real-time view of its cash and risk positions and manage its FX exposure in one central database.
SunGard’s AvantGard provides an interface to Teleperformance’s accounting system and its banks in order to collect daily account statements for treasury reconciliation. In addition, the AvantGard eTreasury module helps connect remote users, helping them collect forecasts and obtain updated cash positions, while also assisting the group treasury in providing online treasury services such as budget rates.
“The key reasons for choosing SunGard lie in the integration and automation that we are looking to achieve,” said Thierry Revah, group treasurer at Teleperformance. “The implementation of AvantGard Treasury happened smoothly and was an overall success. The solution has helped us to structure our internal organisation. We are now able to capture operational, cash and treasury operations, as well as monitor front-to-back treasury processes, including limits and accounting, in one single application. SunGard is helping us to effectively manage the fast-paced growth of our business.”
