EnergySolutions, a provider of services to the nuclear industry, has announced that chief financial officer (CFO) Philip Strawbridge is resigning from the company effective 31 December 2009 to pursue personal business interests.
Strawbridge, who played a key role in the company’s initial public offering (IPO) and has been instrumental in integrating the nine companies brought together since 2005 to provide EnergySolutions’ broad range of global nuclear services, will be succeeded by Mark McBride, the company’s current senior vice president and corporate controller.
