FreeWave Technologies, a manufacturer of licensed radios for critical data transmission, has hired Karl Kunz as chief financial officer (CFO). Kunz will direct the company’s overall financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, cash management and financial statement preparation.
Before joining FreeWave, Kunz was CFO of Carefree for Colorado. In addition, he has worked as operations manager at Agilent Technologies; as director of financial planning and analysis at Honeywell Aerospace; and as senior auditor at Arthur Anderson. Kunz has a BSc degree from the University of Southern California and a MBA degree from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.
