Cash management firm Talaris has appointed Paul Heiden as chairman, a new position at the company. He was most recently chief executive of international engineering group FKI.
Heiden, a chartered accountant, has extensive experience from senior finance and management positions at Mercury Communications, Hanson and Rolls-Royce, being appointed to the board in 1997, as director of industrial business and subsequently as finance director. He was a non-executive director of Bunzl from 1998 to 2005 and of Filtrona from 2005 to 2006. He is currently a non-executive director of United Utilities Group, chairing the audit and treasury committees.
