The Securities & Investment Institute (SII) has developed a new qualification that will be suitable for everyone employed within the financial services industry worldwide who wants to gain a broad working knowledge of risk.
The Risk in Financial Services Certificate will provide a holistic overview of the key areas of risk – operational, credit, market, investment and liquidity. The syllabus has been developed by the SII in partnership with experts from firms, including AXA Investment Managers and Bank of New York Mellon, accredited training providers and trade bodies.
SII managing director Ruth Martin said: “In the current climate, risk is recognised as a bigger issue than ever before and through this qualification the SII aims to improve understanding and raise standards across the industry globally in this crucial area.”
