TradeTech Consulting has announced that Tomas Johansson has been appointed new Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Johansson brings 20 years’ experience of financial business technology, as well as extensive senior management experience. His client-side perspective and extensive experience of adapting financial technology to serve business needs adds a new, strategic dimension to our client offering.” Johansson has held several senior positions with major Swedish banks and asset managers. Most recently he was Global Head of IT at SEB Asset Management. Under his leadership, IT at SEB Asset Management was transformed from a traditional IT organisation to a business-oriented structure aligned with business functions. Johansson has also held the role of CIO at Alfred Berg Asset Management. In all his positions Johansson has been responsible for implementing best-of-breed applications and processes supporting the company’s business operations.
