VocaLink has appointed Alan Scutt as UK managing director to strengthen the company’s relationship with its UK customers and develop new business opportunities. The move follows the recent appointment of Paul Taylor to the new post of managing director for Europe. Scutt will be reporting to Martin Wilson, chief commercial officer at VocaLink. He joins the company from Metavante, where he was senior vice president. Prior to this, he worked for EFunds Corporation and was responsible for running the eFunds Payment Solution business across EMEA. During this time he led the team that worked with VocaLink on the Faster Payments solution.
