Volksbank Romania (VBR), a subsidiary of Volksbank International (VBI), has licensed Financial Software Systems’ Spectrum Treasury System to support the back office processing of its treasury transactions. VBR will install and use Spectrum at its headquarters office in Bucharest. The bank’s main areas of business are corporate banking, retail banking and treasury, with a particular focus on small and medium enterprise banking and micro banking. Spectrum, built on Microsoft’s .NET platform, is a position management system for foreign exchange, money markets, fixed income and derivatives. It is SWIFT and CLS compliant.
