Jan Erik Back has joined North European financial group SEB as chief financial officer and executive vice president, replacing Per-Arne Blomquist, who is leaving to become chief financial officer and executive vice president at TeliaSonera, a telecommunications provider in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Back will take up his new position after the summer. Currently, Back is first senior executive vice president of Vattenfall, a Swedish power company. Previously, he was chief financial officer at Skandia, a Swedish long-term savings company.
