HSBC Names Hogan Regional Head of Trade and Supply Chain for North America

HSBC Bank USA has appointed James Hogan to be group head of supply chain business and regional head of trade and supply chain, North America. Based in New York, he reports to Chris Davies, head of commercial banking (CMB) and global transaction banking for North America, and functionally to Lawrence Webb, global head of trade services and supply chain. In his new role, Hogan is responsible for developing new products and system solutions as well as recruiting experienced professionals to continue building on HSBC’s trade expertise. His team will work closely with CMB, corporate, investment banking and markets, and payment and cash management business units to serve the complex needs of clients in North America. Hogan joined HSBC Group in 1987 and has extensive experience in treasury, corporate and commercial banking as well as strategic planning. He has held a variety of roles in Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Most recently, he held the position of global head of custody and clearing within HSBC Securities Services and was based in Hong Kong.
