HSBC Investments has appointed Richard Bottomley as head of pan European Liquidity distribution. Based in London, Bottomley will head up the liquidity distribution teams. In this new position, Bottomley reports to Peter Knight, global head of liquidity at HSBC Investments. He moves to HSBC Investments from the role of head of corporate distribution within Europe for the payments and cash management division of the HSBC Group. Bottomley has almost 30 years’ experience within the HSBC Group, the majority of which have been spent in servicing its major corporate and institutional banking customer base.
