Duncan Ashford and Marc Thomas have been appointed to HSBC’s Global Payments and Cash Management sales team in Singapore. Ashford will join the Singapore sales team as senior vice president, regional sales, Global Payments and Cash Management, Asia-Pacific, with effect from 2 July 2007. Ashford will cover key sectors including transport and logistics, telecoms, media, diversified industrials, energy and utilities. Thomas has assumed the position of senior vice president, regional sales, Global Payments and Cash Management, Asia-Pacific, covering key sectors such as consumer brands, retail, metals and mining, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and technology in Singapore. Thomas’ appointment took effect on 16 May 2007.
