Cryptomathic has joined the membership of the initiative for open authentication (OATH). The company has become a contributing member of the industry collaboration and will be participating in both technical and marketing activity. By integrating OATH token support into its authenticator server product, a two-factor authentication solution for combating online fraud, Cryptomathic promises to offer flexible and interoperable authentication tokens to all its customers. Cryptomathic joins more than 80 other device, platform and application vendors and end-user customers of authentication technologies, which are all dedicated to creating an open authentication architecture that aims to facilitate the growth of electronic commerce.
