SunGard and Captara Corporation announced today that they will work together to integrate Captara’s enterprise lease management solution with SunGard’s comprehensive set of solutions for corporate treasury. With SunGard’s AvantGard solution customers manage market and credit risk and global corporate treasury functions including cash management and transaction initiation. Integrating AvantGard with Captara’s leasing solution will increase the control treasurers have when comparing lease vs. buy options, managing leasing portfolios and overseeing the RFP process with lessors. In addition, Captara’s reporting functions help companies comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and FASB regulations. The relationship between SunGard and Captara will also help enterprises to fully manage their treasury and capital leasing from a single workstation.
