John Bostock has been named as head of American Express’s corporate purchasing solutions business across Europe. Bostock will begin his new role on 22 March, and will report directly to Paul Abbott, head of the company’s commercial card business in the UK and Benelux. John Bostock joins Amex with over 20 years experience within the financial services arena, including senior management positions with Diners Club, Thomas Cook and Midland Bank. Most recently, Bostock worked as a strategic advisor to a host of UK and European businesses, where he has advised on a variety of core disciplines from finance and strategy, through to marketing and technology solutions.
