Interpublic Group of Companies (Interpublic), a leading organisation of advertising agencies and marketing services companies, has expanded its use of FXpress with the installation of the FIRST Treasury Workstation. Interpublic has been using the desktop version of FXpress for managing its foreign exchange portfolio for almost three years. The company will use the FIRST debt and investment module for its global inter-company loan programme and for trading its domestic investment portfolio. FIRST is a web-based treasury workstation for the management of foreign exchange, commodities and interest rate risk. ‘FXpress has delivered an ASP-based solution for debt and investment management that provides reporting and accounting capabilities from any web browser,’ said Robert Williams, director of global treasury operations for Interpublic.
