Wine and spirit distributor Maxxium Worldwide BV has extended its use of SimCorp’s IT/2 treasury management solution by implementing IT/2 NET. The web-based extension to IT/2 will streamline communication between Maxxium Worldwide’s central treasury in Amsterdam, where core IT/2 modules have been used for three years, and 34 subsidiaries around the globe, said SimCorp. IT/2 NET allows treasury personnel in subsidiary operations to access central treasury information directly, in real-time. ‘We act as an internal bank for our subsidiaries, but we no longer have to push treasury data out to them; instead, they just pull up the information they need as and when required at any time of day,’ explained Ron Wessels, Maxxium Worldwide’s treasury operations manager.
