Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking’s (SG CIB) Foreign Exchange Global Institutional Sales offices in New York, London and Sydney have installed TraderTools’ e-trading solution, OrderTools. SG CIB intends to use the TraderTools’ STPlatform component to upgrade and enhance its electronic foreign exchange ordering system with spot orders, forwards and futures, including Exchange For Physical (EFP) synthetic contracts, according to TraderTools. ‘OrderTools was chosen to help us reduce our operational risk,’ explained Jay Green, Head of e-Commerce at SG CIB, New York. ‘Its database replication feature allows us to ‘pass the book’ between offices on opposite sides of the world.’
