A standalone version of Katotech’s ezSwift message testing solution has been launched, which incorporates a regression testing module. EzSwift, a tool for generating SWIFT messages into development environments, allows users to simulate incoming and outgoing messages for testing and benchmarking purposes. Katotech launched the solution earlier this year, packaged in the form of an unlimited user client/server based licence. According to the firm, market feedback shows that the majority of financial services organisations only have one user who will be responsible for producing test messages. Consequently, Katotech has produced a standalone version, the price of which is based on the number of message groups required. The additional ‘regression tester’ module allows the user to check that messages produced by their application/STP environment are valid and are the correct expected responses.
