The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Financial Markets has appointed Neil Murray, Steve James and Trevor Vail to its Credit Trading team, part of the bank’s Capital Markets business. Murray, who will join the Investment Grade Corporate Trading Desk, joins RBS from Commerzbank Securities, where he focused on the telecom sector in its credit trading business. James joins RBS as Head of High Yield Trading and arrives from Barclays Capital, where he was Head of European High Yield Trading. Vail becomes Head of Asia Credit Trading, and joins RBS from ING in Hong Kong where he was Head of Credit Trading for Asia. Prior to ING, he was Head of Credit Trading in Japan for Barclays Capital in Tokyo.
