Bank of America Asia has appointed Naser Jaafar as Vice President/ Executive Director and Country Head, Bank of America Malaysia Berhad. Malaysia-born Naser has 16 years corporate banking experience. He was previously assigned to the Bank of America Global Treasury Management office in Singapore, and has served in various positions in corporate banking, credit, global treasury management and customer service within the bank in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. ‘Our focus in Malaysia is to provide integrated working capital management solutions by building relationships with multinationals, financial institutions and multilateral agencies,’ said Naser. To achieve these objectives and to demonstrate its commitment to Malaysia, Bank of America has implemented an electronic collection route, which according to the organisation, helps clients speed collections and simplifies reconciliation processes.
